In 2015, two friends, Ashish (Ash) Chokhal and Mahesh (Matt) Thapa, started AM Advisory with a simple goal: to help people build a better financial future. With almost 20 years of combined experience in Business, Finance, and Taxation, they saw how hard it was for many individuals and businesses to get the right advice and support. Ashish Chokhal, a Chartered Accountant and Business Advisor, founded AM Advisory in 2015. Before starting the firm, he worked in senior roles at well-known mid-tier accounting and advisory firms in Australia.

With years of experience in financial consulting, Ash specializes in tax strategies, property investment tax benefits, asset protection, business growth strategies, cash flow management, and business valuations. He has worked with a wide range of small and medium businesses (SMEs) across industries such as hospitality, construction, healthcare, retail, legal, and transportation.

Ash is also a registered Credit Representative (CRN 502474) of BLSSA Pty Ltd (ACN 117 651 760, ACL 391237)

Mahesh Thapa, also known as Matt, is a financial consultant and broker with years of experience in one of Australia’s top 200 ASX-listed commercial organizations. As a co-founder of AM Advisory, he helps clients secure financing for home loans, business loans, and commercial property investments.

With a background in financial accounting and finance brokering, Matt has developed strong relationships with business development managers at major banks and lenders. He specializes in helping clients buy properties, expand their businesses, and restructure existing loans to reduce costs. His in-depth knowledge of home and business finance ensures that clients get the best possible loan options to meet their financial goals.

Matt is also a registered Credit Representative (CRN 482856) of BLSSA Pty Ltd (Australian Credit License 391237).
